I have the deep conviction that young people can experience emerging adulthood as empowering and indeed magical (instead of anxiety-inducing and dreadful).

After many years working in literary publishing, I know the profound influence storytelling has to change lives. What stories are young people telling themselves about who they are? What stories have they already internalized?

I specialize in evaluating what key executive functions need targeting and demystify what in their thinking has been preventing them from getting what they really want out of life: meaning and connection. I especially love working with teens because they have such energy around discovering their own identities, and I love to bear witness to that process. I’m here to coach them through strategies to get through discomfort and fight overwhelm, learn ways that dysfunctional thinking has limited their own belief in themselves, and encourage them to seize the power they’ve always had to write their own next chapters.
